Attension was founded in 2016 by Sally, Thai–Chinese designer who grew up in a gemstone trading family in Bangkok. Surrounded by sparkle from a young age, she developed a lifelong fascination with organic beauty of gemstones.

Sally spent her high school years in Australia, experiences that shaped her appreciation for nature’s forms. Many of her designs draw inspiration from waves, animals and coastal landscapes. Sally hand-picks ethically sourced gemstones, creating small-batch collections that celebrated art and individuality.

In 2017, Attension expanded into custom-made jewellery, co-designing pieces with amazing people from different walks of life. Attension Bangkok showroom became known for fun, intimate, cozy atmosphere — often featuring design conversations on the couch, accompanied by a bottle of wine.

In 2023, Sally relocated permanently to Australia, opening a new chapter. Now every Attension piece begins in Melbourne. Once a design is finalised, production is carefully divided between Melbourne and Bangkok.

Attension now offers face-to-face custom consultations and private previews in Melbourne, with a dedicated showroom currently in progress. Clients can also arrange complimentary video-call consultations.
